The British country style is one that I’ve come to base my style on. While tweed is a heavier material, I’ve searched for an option that would be a viable option during the summer months. Samuel Windsor provides a range of summer-weight tweed jackets and waistcoats that are a great staple for the hotter summer weather.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been testing this jacket and waistcoat out in the summer heat to see how they performed. To say the least, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how comfortable they have been to wear.
To complete the “country look”, I paired the tweed jacket and waistcoat with a tattersall shirt, navy chinos, and country tie. The navy from the chinos and tie complement the green, while red from the shirt helps pull out the red check from the jacket and waistcoat.
