Confession time: I used to think I was a slow reader. Watching others devour two or three books while I struggled through one left me feeling discouraged. So, I found other avenues for learning. Little did I know, there was a hidden love for reading deep within me, perhaps ignited by hours spent with a set of encyclopedias as a kid.

Fast forward to two years ago. I was craving knowledge to fuel my growth. A mentor dropped a game-changing piece of advice: start reading books. That single nugget triggered a reading revolution in my life!

Last year, I committed to making reading a daily habit. Sure, I missed some days, but the key was consistently opening a book. Result? I read 15 books. This year, I doubled down, seizing every opportunity to dive into a book. The grand total: 24 books!

On this reading journey, I received one of the best compliments ever: “You must be well-read, because you always have a book to recommend for any situation.” It’s incredible how this habit has swung open doors to new conversations, solutions, and opportunities.
